LOUISE — A $2 million expansion project is planned for First State Bank in Louise, according to project registration documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
The project, registered on May 15, 2026, calls for renovations and additions to the existing bank facility located at 206 W. North St. in Louise.
Records show the project will include approximately 1,180 square feet of renovations and a 3,584-square-foot addition, bringing the total project area to 4,764 square feet. The scope of work includes a partial renovation of the existing facility, replacement of the bank’s entry and drive-thru canopies, and construction of a new addition.
The project is privately funded and has an estimated cost of $2 million.
Construction is scheduled to begin June 15, 2026, with completion anticipated by May 15, 2027, according to the filing.
The project is currently listed as “Project Registered” with TDLR.
