WHARTON — The Wharton Police Department has released its 2026 “Do Not Trick or Treat” list, identifying addresses associated with registered sex offenders and encouraging families to avoid those locations during Halloween activities.
The department shared the public safety notice on Wednesday, October 28, ahead of Halloween on Saturday, October 31.
According to WPD, the list was released in connection with the Texas Sex Offender Registry to help parents and guardians plan their trick-or-treating routes within Wharton city limits.
Police Encourage Families to Review Addresses
The department is asking residents to review the list before taking children trick-or-treating.

The complete list of addresses is available in the official Wharton Police Department flyer accompanying this article.
Police stated that the listed addresses should not participate in Halloween festivities.
However, WPD clarified that the individuals are not currently under investigation. The department encouraged residents with information about possible noncompliance with sex offender registration requirements to contact police.
