EL CAMPO — Families preparing for the upcoming school year will have an opportunity to get required vaccinations for their children at a free immunization clinic scheduled for August.

According to El Campo ISD, a Back-to-School Immunization Clinic will be held on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at El Campo Middle School, 4010 FM 2765, El Campo, TX 77437.

The clinic is available for uninsured children ages 18 and younger as well as children covered by Medicaid. Parents or guardians bringing children covered by Medicaid must present the child’s Medicaid card.

Officials say families should bring the child’s current immunization record. Children covered by CHIP or private insurance will need to receive vaccinations through their primary care provider.

Patients will be seen on a walk-in basis. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. for those seeking afternoon appointments. The clinic will reopen at 1 p.m., and afternoon registration will close at 2:30 p.m.

For additional information, families may call 979-732-3662 or 832-547-3924.

The clinic is intended to help students meet school immunization requirements before classes begin for the 2026-27 school year.
