EAGLE LAKE — A resident of Eagle Lake is $1 million richer after claiming a top prize from a Texas Lottery scratch ticket purchased locally.

According to Texas Lottery officials, the winning ticket was part of the Million Dollar Loteria scratch game and was purchased at Time Maxx #3 on East Main Street in Eagle Lake. The winner has chosen to remain anonymous.

Lottery officials said the $1 million prize was one of the game’s top prizes. The Million Dollar Loteria game offers multiple top-prize opportunities and more than $363 million in total prize money.

The Eagle Lake winner is among several Southeast Texas residents who have recently claimed million-dollar prizes through Texas Lottery scratch-off games.

The Texas Lottery reminds players that all lottery games are games of chance and encourages responsible play.
