EL CAMPO — HTeaO will celebrate the grand opening of its new El Campo location on Saturday, Aug. 1, with free tea, limited-edition merchandise and several opening-week promotions.

The new store is located at 606 N. Mechanic St. and is owned and operated by franchise owners Brandon Somers and Joanie Roome, along with partner Sandra Smolik Alexander.
As part of the grand-opening celebration, customers can receive a free cup of tea from 10 a.m. to noon. Limited-edition HTeaO T-shirts will also be given to the first 250 customers.
The store will offer buy-one-get-one-free cups of tea throughout the day on Saturday, Aug. 1, and Sunday, Aug. 2. Gallons of tea will be half-price from Aug. 1 through Aug. 8, while Brewhouse coffee will be available buy one, get one free from Aug. 2 through Aug. 8.
For Roome and Alexander, opening the El Campo store is also a homecoming. Both were born and raised in El Campo.
“Coming back to open this in my hometown has been such a meaningful part of this whole journey,” Roome said. “We can’t wait to see familiar faces, welcome new ones, and build a place that feels like home from the very first visit.”
Alexander said opening the business alongside her daughter in their hometown makes the occasion especially meaningful.
“El Campo has always been a place where people look out for one another, and that’s exactly the kind of experience we want to bring to HTeaO,” Alexander said.

The store will feature more than 20 flavors of sweetened and unsweetened tea, along with water and coffee products. Customers can order inside the store or use its drive-thru.
Following the grand opening, HTeaO will offer its regular daily happy hour from 2 to 4 p.m., featuring buy-one-get-one-free tea in any size.
