WHARTON — The Wharton Police Department has earned national recognition after receiving the FBI-LEEDA Agency Trilogy Award, an honor presented to law enforcement agencies that demonstrate a strong commitment to professional leadership development.
According to the department, the award is presented to agencies whose command staff have successfully completed the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Program, which includes the Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute, and Executive Leadership Institute. The program is designed to strengthen leadership skills, ethical decision-making, organizational effectiveness, and the delivery of high-quality public service.
The department said the recognition reflects its ongoing commitment to professional growth and serving the Wharton community at the highest level.
