WHARTON COUNTY — An East Bernard man has been indicted on six felony charges involving allegations of sexual assault and sexual contact with a child, according to Wharton County court records.

Christopher Lee Solis Valle, 29, of East Bernard, was indicted during the July–December 2026 term of the Wharton County grand jury. The indictment was filed Oct. 6, 2026.

Court records show Valle was indicted on one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact, four counts of sexual assault involving a prohibited person, and one count of sexual assault of a child.

The charges stem from allegations prosecutors say occurred on or about July 21, 2026, in Wharton County.

According to the indictment, prosecutors allege Valle intentionally or knowingly had sexual contact with a person younger than 17 years old. The first count alleges he touched the person’s breast with the intent to arouse or gratify sexual desire.

The indictment also includes four separate sexual assault counts involving a prohibited person. Those counts allege Valle engaged in sexual activity with a person with whom he was prohibited under Texas law from engaging in sexual intercourse or deviate sexual intercourse.

A sixth count charges Valle with sexual assault of a child, with prosecutors alleging sexual conduct involving a person who was younger than 17 at the time of the alleged offense.

The indictment contains additional details describing the alleged acts.

An indictment is a formal accusation and does not mean a defendant has been found guilty. Valle is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

Wharton Post does not publish the identities of minors who are alleged victims of sexual offenses.
